What is the Yucaipa Valley Chamber Ambassador Committee?

Ambassadors are the "meet and greet" committee and act as volunteer liaisons between the Yucaipa Valley Chamber of Commerce and its members. They also provide new member outreach and assist with member retention.

Ambassadors make solid and long-lasting business contacts through participation in the committee. Additional benefits of participation include:

- Provide higher visibility for your company / employer when working events with the Chamber
- Sharpen communication and marketing skills
- Increase overall knowledge of the Yucaipa business community
- Ambassadors of the month receive have their photo and a article about them printed in the Chamber Times Newsletter.

Apr 12   Wags and Walk at YAPS

Wags and Walk at YAPS
Yucaipa Animal Placement Society and Canine Companions are holding a fun monthly walk with the animals.  Scheduled for the second Saturday of every month, as weather permits, animal lovers alike are encouraged to bring their leashed and vaccinated dogs to walk.  Lacking in a walking companion? Take one of the dogs awaiting a new home and brighten their day with a fun-filled adventure.
Wags and Walk is an ongoing monthly event.  The fun begins at 8:30am, people and their four-legged friends are encouraged to join dog trainer, Kym Caldwell of Canine Companions for a nice stroll that will depart from the shelter. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 8:00 to get prepared for the journey.  With plenty of trails and walkways in the area, the options are sure to be an endless opportunity for a good time and provide health benefits for all.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your favorite four-legged friend whether it’s yours or one of ours, as well as meet likeminded animal lovers,” said Director Nicole Laffey. “We are excited to work with Kym in offering this opportunity to dogs and their people.” Please remember to come prepared for both people and pets, water and bags for waste clean-up are necessary.  For more information on the walks please contact YAPS at (909) 790-1440.
